Wrangler FR Men's Jean Fit Guide

Wrangler FR jeans come in several distinct fits. The fit name affects how the jean sits through the seat, thigh, rise, and leg, even when the waist size is the same.

Fit Seat & Thigh Rise Leg Overall Fit
Original Fit Full seat and thigh High rise / traditional Cowboy Cut fit Straight leg; fits over boots Classic Wrangler fit. Not overly loose or tight.
Relaxed Fit More room through seat and thigh Sits at the natural waist Straight leg with room through knee and leg opening Best for additional mobility and a roomier work fit.
Slim Fit Slim through seat and thigh Varies by style Streamlined leg while still fitting over boots on applicable FR styles Closest-fitting Wrangler FR jean option.
20X Bootcut Slim seat and thigh Sits below the waist Bootcut with wider leg opening Western-inspired slim fit with more room over boots.

Quick fit comparison: Relaxed Fit provides the most extra room through the seat and thigh. Original Fit has Wrangler's traditional full-seat Cowboy Cut profile. Slim Fit is the closest through the seat and thigh, while 20X Bootcut combines a slim upper fit with a wider bootcut leg.

How to Measure

Neck: Measure around the neck where a shirt collar normally sits, leaving enough room for comfort.

Chest: Measure around the upper body just under the arms and across the shoulder blades, keeping the tape firm and level.

Sleeve: With the arm relaxed and slightly bent, measure from the center back of the neck down the outside of the arm to the wrist.

Waist: For shirts, measure around the narrowest part of the waist. For pants, measure where you normally wear your jeans.

Hips: Stand with heels together and measure around the fullest part of the hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Inseam: Measure vertically from the top of the inner thigh to the floor without shoes.
