Bulwark Size Charts

Use the Bulwark sizing information below to help select the best fit. Bulwark sizing varies by garment family, so use the chart that matches the type of garment you are purchasing. Product-specific size availability may vary.

Bulwark Men's Work & Long Sleeve Shirts

For traditional Bulwark work, uniform, and button-down shirts. Measure around the fullest part of the chest and around the neck where the collar sits.

Measurement S M L XL 2XL 3XL 4XL 5XL
Chest (in.) 34–36 38–40 42–44 46–48 50–52 54–56 58–60 62–64

Long Sleeve 35½ 35½ 36 36 36 36 36 36

Fit note: Bulwark identifies fit on individual products. For example, some work shirts are labeled Relaxed Fit while certain Hi-Visibility work shirts are labeled Regular Fit. Use the product-specific fit designation along with the body measurements above.

Bulwark Men's Henleys, T-Shirts & Knit Shirts

Bulwark knit garments use a different chest reference than traditional woven work shirts.

Measurement XS S M L XL 2XL 3XL
Chest (in.) 33–35 36–38 39–41 43–45 47½–49½ 52–54 56½–58½

Important: Bulwark T-shirts, Henleys, base layers, and specialty knits can have product-specific size ranges. Use this as a general knit reference and check the size choices shown on the individual product.

Bulwark Men's Outerwear

For jackets and outer layers, allow enough room for the clothing that will normally be worn underneath.

Size XS S M L XL 2XL 3XL
Chest / Numeric Range 33–34 36–38 40–42 44–46 48–50 52–54 56–58

Layering: Bulwark outerwear is designed as a protective outer layer. If the garment will routinely be worn over bulky FR layers, account for that clothing when selecting your size.

Bulwark Men's Coveralls

Bulwark men's coveralls are commonly sold by numeric chest size. Current styles are available in Regular and Long body lengths, depending on the product.

Numeric Size 32 34 36 38 40 42 44 46 48 50 52 54 56 58 60 62 64 66
Chest Range 30½–32 32½–34 34½–36 36½–38 38½–40 40½–42 42½–44 44½–46 46½–48 48½–50 50½–52 52½–54 54½–56 56½–58 58½–60 60½–62 62½–64 64½–66
Max. Waist 30½ 32½ 34½ 36½ 38½ 40½ 42½ 44½ 46½ 48½ 50½ 52½ 54½ 56½ 58½ 60½ 62½ 64½

Choose by the larger measurement: If your waist measurement requires a larger size than your chest, select the size based on your waist.

Body length: Short approximately 5'3"–5'7"; Regular approximately 5'7"–5'11"; Long approximately 5'11"–6'3"; Extra Long approximately 6'3"–6'5". Not every length is offered in every style. Some Bulwark coveralls are designed to be worn over other clothing and fit over work boots.

Bulwark Women's Shirts

Women's work and uniform shirt sizing is based primarily on bust and waist. Bulwark women's shirts may use alpha sizing even when sizing references also show corresponding numeric sizes.

Numeric Size 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28
Bust 32½–33 33½–34 34½–35 35½–36 36½–37 38–39 39½–40½ 41½–42½ 43½–44½ 45½–46½ 47½–48½ 49½–50½ 51½–52½
Waist 24–24½ 25–25½ 26–26½ 27–28 28½–29½ 30–31 31½–32½ 33–34½ 35–36½ 37–38½ 39–40½ 41–42½ 43–44½

Women's fit: Bulwark women's-specific shirts are shaped differently from men's styles. Current products may include back darts, underarm gussets, or other features designed for a women's fit, so avoid substituting the men's chart when a women's style is available.

Bulwark Women's Outerwear

For women's jackets and outer layers, begin with the women's bust measurement above and account for the FR layers normally worn underneath.

Women's outerwear sizing: Bulwark outerwear size availability varies by jacket. Use the women's body measurements above together with the alpha sizes offered on the individual product.

Bulwark FR Hi-Visibility Sizing

Bulwark Hi-Visibility is a product family rather than one universal fit. Use the underlying garment type to choose the correct sizing chart.

Hi-Vis Garment Use This Size Reference Sizing Notes
Work / Button-Down Shirt Men's Work Shirt or Women's Shirt chart above Men's Hi-Visibility work shirts use product-specific fit and size ranges. Women's Hi-Visibility work shirts should use the women's sizing reference.
Hi-Vis T-Shirt / Henley Men's Henleys & Knits chart above Hi-Vis knit styles may offer Regular and Long body lengths and product-specific alpha-size ranges.
Hi-Vis Jacket Men's or Women's Outerwear sizing above Current lined and insulated styles may be offered in alpha sizing with Regular and Long options on applicable products.
Hi-Vis / Reflective Coverall Men's Coverall chart above Reflective-trim coveralls use numeric sizing and may be designed to be worn over other clothing.

Hi-Vis fit tip: Do not automatically size up just because a garment is Hi-Visibility. Size according to the underlying garment category and the layers you will wear underneath. Product-specific size and body-length options should take priority.

How to Measure

Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the chest or bust, keeping the tape level.

Neck: Measure around the base of the neck where a shirt collar normally sits.

Waist: Measure around the natural waist without pulling the tape too tightly.

Sleeve: Measure from the center back of the neck across the shoulder and down the arm to the wrist.
